From our audience research we learnt that the good aspects of our videos would enclude our lip syncing as we focused a fair bit on getting it as close to perfect as we could, we also done this when it came to editing shot by shot and this came across well to the viewer as in our audience feedback it is said that our video 'is very tight', . However one thing we could have considered a little bit more is the story line itself as we may have made it a bit to obvious and literal, although we did enclude other parts of narrative into the story line with the slap scene so we had another focus to make it a bit more interesting. Another thing we could have maybe reconsidered was some of the acting as they may not have come across as seriously as we would have liked in order to aid the story line a bit better. Overall we found most of our audience feedback came back positive and we are happy with the end result.
Another element that we found out from our audience feedback was that our website and Poster didn't not link with eachother and with the music video itself.
Original Website Homepage
Original Poster / Advert
as you can see at first glance you would not think these two ancillary tasks where part of a coherent campaign - the links to each other are only really font, and the use of the band name. The links with the video - the website doesn't have any, the poster only used the bands image and logo which is a form of branding but is not a strong as it could be.
So using the audience feedback we looked at both products and made adjustments to not only allow for a coherent campaign that flows and has clear links but one that can be associated with the music video and the band but also looks like a real product.
